Why choose Sitka Wonders?

Led by Passionate Naturalists

Our captains and naturalists bring years of experience exploring Sitka Sound’s volcanic islands, wildlife, and tides. Their deep local knowledge, passion, and care for this coast turn every outing into more than a tour — it’s a window into the living rhythms of Alaska’s wild places.

Small-Group Coastal Exploration

With a maximum of six guests, this experience is unhurried and personal. We move with the weather and tides, choosing the best coves, wildlife areas, and beach landing sites each day to ensure every trip is unique.

Beyond the Crowds

Unlike large cruise excursions, we seek quiet moments — whales feeding in open bays, sea lions resting on volcanic ledges, eagles calling above the forest. You’ll step ashore on a remote island for a picnic lunch and time to wander, beachcomb, or simply take in the stillness.
